I just received a letter from my dear friend Webster and would like to share it with you!

Webster's Travels:  Chapter One

Oh boy, have I had an adventure! I woke up one warm fall morning and longed for the cold, crisp breeze of the mountain air. So, I took flight to the beautiful Rocky Mountains! Here are some pictures from my travels! It already snowed in Colorado!

Have you ever felt like you were on top of the world? Me too! Here I am at the Continental Divide at Loveland Pass. What a spectacular view!

I love the forest. It's my home! And I must give much thanks to the US Forestry service for keeping the beautiful forests of Colorado protected!

I visited the San Isabel National Forest.

And inside the San Isabel National Forest there is a lovely stream called Cascade Falls. Here I am perched atop the sign!

After some more traveling and more snow, I found a pass named after me. How cool is that! A pass named after little ol' me!

I though I had had enough cold for the time being, so I headed home. After a long journey, I'm plumb tuckered out! Thank goodness for my warm, soft bed!

I'll let you know the next time I have and adventure and be sure to share some pictures!

Much love,
Webster

Mermaid Tail

I have been completely engrossed in custom orders lately. My current order is several newborn baby props for a lovely local photographer. She has commissioned some charming items including a mermaid outfit. Since it is unlike anything I have ever made before, I, of course, decided to make it last. Well, this little mermaid tail almost beat me. Each time I thought I had it figured out, I would stop to look at what I had crafted in utter disappointment, rip out all the stitches, and formulate a new plan. I had to restart it 8 times. But, I finally came up with a pattern that invokes the movement of the ocean and whimsy of the mystical sea creature. I completed the delightful little mermaid outfit last night and I am quite pleased with how it turned out! Take a look!

Take pride in everything you do and never settle for anything less than the very best.
